Hey DUers no matter what you say Bill Clinton is family. . .don't any of you have family members... |
|
. . .who have made you proud for years only to let you down over something else? Don't any of you have family members who have fallen out of grace with everyone else in the family, but when the chips are down something happens and you realized that at the end of the day they are family.
I look at the Clintons as family members. Family members I have always loved, been very proud of but was very disappointed in during the 2008 primaries. It looks like they are coming around but every now and then they give me a cause for concern. However they made a good impression at the reunion (convention), I'm seeing a lot of things a like and things I don't but I definitely want them home for the holidays;)
Sorry for the rambling rant but hopefully this puts things in a little perspective.

1. Yeah, I have an older brother who, like Bill Clinton, is... |
|
both a con artist and attention whore. After he borrowed $1500 dollars from me, then forgot about paying me back within a year, I broke all ties with him.
I have no regrets.

2. You certainly are right. |

After 8 years of Bush, Bill Clinton should be looking like a saint. Remember all the shit about him on TV and radio?
He deserves an award for just surviving that.
Wonder what happened to all the criticism when Bush got elected?

4. well, by your analogy: yes, I have a loser brother in law, but I STILL call him a loser |
|
when he acts like one. Being in the family does not give you a free pass when you act stupid. If anything, you criticize them HARDER as part of your family.

6. I have no problem whatsoever with either Clinton. |
|
I DO have plenty of problem with all the LW nuts who blame them from everything. They sound worse than the Freepers. Like the jerk on Huff (forgot his name) who thinks that if Obama loses Bill should be blamed for it. What a moron!!!
