The right wing using women as a last resort ? Mommy to the rescue? |
|
The reason I ask this, is I do NOT watch all the cable channels, and maybe it has just been a fluke. But the other day, the one male right wing commentator I had seen on CNN, warned against Biden attacking Palin
Now I have seen this more than once.. "The you better be careful with your attacks on Palin" meme. and the way they have been keeping her from the press.
Well I started to notice then, that a majority of right wing hell hound commentators in question sessions against democrats were women.
And this seems to keep the democratic commentators if they are male, from firing back with both barrels when these right wing hell hounds starting spewing lies as fast as they can.
Now I am a woman, so maybe I cue into these things faster, but the sinking ship of the republican army or "daddy party" as they used to call themselves, are sending out "mommy" to try and run interference for them, hoping that attacks will bring up deep seated sympathy.
I find it reprehensible, because it puts women in a bad light. Like Palin is just the worst of the worst of a symbol because they are not letting her get in the ring. So of course with good intuition you have to assume, she is incapable.
What a crock this republican canidate is, from stopping equal pay for equal work, to trying to pass off a stepford wife as a symbol of women breaking the glass ceiling. Instead it is a symbol of old world weakness thought process.

1. You're right. Their treatment of her is incredibly, disgustingly sexist. |

As Campbell Brown pointed out in her very angry comments the other day.
