Wow, Look at Senator Kennedy!

Today was his first public appearance since the DNC. I was so glad to see how strong he looks, and thought you might enjoy seeing this encouraging look at the Senate's Liberal Lion.

The President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, visited Senator Kennedy at his home in Hyannis:

She presented the senator with her country's highest civilian award -- the Order to the Merit of Chile -- in recognition of his opposition to the country's 1973 government overthrow and work to cut off military aid to dictator Augusto Pinochet.

Senator Kennedy also expressed his opinion of the proposed economic bailout:
