Notice how not one MSM station had any commentary after the speech! They go on and on and on after Palin opens her mouth, seriously they always spend a few minutes talking about her and her comments. But, Joe delivers a speech that actually covers in depth the foreign policy challenges we are facing and the MSM acts like it never happened. I promise you tonight the talking heads will say "Ya, he gave a good speech, but what about his latest gaffe on FDR....yada, yada, yada. And Palin met with Bono!" The advent of the 24 hour news cycle will be the death of this country.

went right into the story on "Biden's own bridge problem", their "keeping them honest" segment. I give the MSM no quarter any more.
ON EDIT:
CNN did cover one clip of Biden attacking McCain on experience and then the lead in was "speaking of sarah palin...", right to a piece on how Laura Bush loves Palin, big smiles, all fluff piece.
Ya, tell me again how he will get positive coverage of this speech.:puke:

The speech makes Palin look like she is in Kindergarten, and he has a Doctorate. The speech also details many of Obama's plans on foreign policy. It is great that Obama has obviously listened to Biden and altered some of his positions. She what happens when you have a VP that can speak his mind.

Just like I almost feel sorry for Bush every time he makes a speech, I have to turn off my TV in embarrassment. Something tells me it will be the same when watching Biden and Palin together. Biden will run circles around her, and I hope he doesn't hold back!

103. I'm wondering if they are doing this because of their treatment from the McCain camp |
|
The media is upset about the net around Palin and I could see them showing less of her and more of Biden.
At least that's what I'm hoping. :)

102. No. They knew they HAD to after showing ALL of Palin's canned speeches at rallies... |
|
and if my complaints (and others') had anything to do with it, they BETTER show the whole thing! :D

97. Biden is giving Americans a primer on how the |
|
world works right now in order to prep them for the debates. It's like a crash course on what's going on. People can use this info as a way to judge the candidates. I am assuming he is scaring the shit out of McPhailin. In light of Ahmadinajad being on Larry King last night, and by the way crazy nut that he is, he came across as willing to talk and backed Barack's timetable for the US to get out of Iraq. Commentator says Biden just "built a lawyer's case" against McCain. I hope they run parts of this all day long.

CNN is getting better with their coverage. I think it started when Tucker Bounds was "stumped" by Campbell Brown who simply asked him to name one order Palin gave to the Alaskan National Guard. McCain canceled his appearance on LKL after that claiming Brown crossed the line!

enough time to build the case during the VP debate, so he used this speech to get out a lot of what he wished he could say on stage with Palin.

106. Biden kicked McLiar's ass all over the place in this speech |
|
From Spain to Iraq to Russia to Iran he really gave it to his "friend". I loved it when he spoke about sitting down with the Georgian president and working on a strategy for them regarding Russia, could Phalin even think about doing that? And he backed up Barack with plenty of examples of better more logical thinking over McLiar's hotheadness. I love ya Joe!
