Another Down Day On The Dow

I wonder if the Dow will break the psychologically important 10,000 mark before the election..

1. On the bright side: if it keeps going down, we won't have to bail them out.

Better that they suffer the losses than poverty stricken Americans who will suffer further inflation should the bailout pass.

2. Actually, the more they go down, the more urgent the bailout will seem

They'll go down just far enough to make the taxpayer cry "Uncle" and then agree to give our money away to a bunch of gamblers.

3. If there is an FBI investigation going on, wouldn't some of these

cos., ie. Lehman, AIG be at least temporarily shut down or at the very least, told not to do business until the investigation is over? I mean, really.....

It would seem to be akin to not letting you out on bail if you were charged with a crime...
