I noticed something about Palin yesterday
They showed video footage of her coming out of the airplane and she was holding the baby.

I think they know her "likeability" is down and so I think they will do a lot of media rounds with the kids and especially the baby.

5. They are using that poor little kid as a prop.
That can not be healthy to drag an infant all over the country.

6. "Sarah Palin's baby was being passed around like a bong at Burning Man" at the Republican Convention
Ron Reagan said that as he spoke about the Republican National Convention a few weeks ago on the Thom Hartmann Show.

Ron calls him as he sees them. Baby as prop.

7. OMG
I snorted when I read that quote. So true.

I feel sorry for that baby. But not the mom. I guess I'm supposed to feel sorry for the mom, having to climb down onto a tarmac from an airplane with a five month old on her shoulder, but there were plenty of other people who could have held the baby AND the baby could be at home, where he'd probably be most comfortable, anyway.

Prop baby. Sad.

10. I can just see her starting to get off the plane, fixing her hair,
and someone saying "WAIT! GOVERNOR PALIN! THE BABY!" And her all "Oh my GAWD I almost forgot to hold him when I go out. I've got to remember that--hold baby when exiting places, hold baby when exiting places--ok, I got it." And she goes to walk out and forgets AGAIN!

They finally got that baby in her one arm and she mentally reprimanded herself for almost forgetting AGAIN.

11. It really disgusts me that she has no better respect for her children
Than to drag them around the country and use them for a photo op. Wouldn't a REAL mom worry more about taking care of that baby instead of posing with him?

14. The single most annoying thing concerning Palin for me
is that the media acts as if she is "qualified" for the position of VP. A mayor of a town of 5700 just two years ago "qualified" to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency? I think not. I live in a town of about 15,000 and the thought of our town mayor running for VP is as absurd as a Palin candidacy. Although it's true you can't see Russia or Canada from North Carolina, I really don't think that would give our Mayor any more credibility for the highest office in the land even if you could.
