Stephanopoulos: No Candidate W/ More Than 50% Support in Sept. Has Lost Presidential Race Since '48
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 12:05 PM by EV_Ares
The economic turmoil on Wall Street and fear among voters about the nation's economy has boosted Democrat Barack Obama's presidential candidacy, giving him his first clear lead over Republican John McCain in the presidential race.

George Stephanopoulos discusses large swings in the voters' opinions.Obama now leads McCain among likely voters by 52 percent to 43 percent, according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll.

That is a significant swing from the most recent ABC/Washington Post poll earlier this month that gave McCain a slight 49-47 point edge.

"It is all about the economy," ABC's chief Washington correspondent George Stephanopoulos told "Good Morning America" today. "People are angry and shocked and worried about the economy and that is all helping Barack Obama right now."

1. Those kinds of predictions are meaningless.
The person with the most electoral votes on election day wins. No other polls, counts, or projections mean anything.

2. GOP Has Refined The Theft of Elections Since 48
I won't be happy until November 4th, when it's announced with no doubt - Barack Obama is the next POTUS.

3. With elections only every 4 years...

There simply aren't enough trials to be significant.

We must work even harder. It's still a long ways to November 4.

And there is no doubt that the repukes will attempt to steal it again.
