Words cannot express how happy I'm going to be when I won't have to see that fucktard on TV anymore... Unless of course if it was images of him at trial.

13. So no one in his circle of advisors pulled him aside and said, |
|
"Sir, two thirds of the public blame you and the republicans for this mess. Just as many are against the bailout. Do you really think they'll listen to you plead for more power like they did when you got up and talked about the Iraq War Resolution?"
Freakin' lame duck. I'm getting so sick of all these talking heads spewing about how oh my god URGENT this bailout is.

I will stop by the bank this afternoon and make time to get in some groceries because who knows what this evil monster will spew tonight. I just hope that god does not take this chance to grant my last prayerful wish, which was intended for the State of the Union Address 2004, 'Please God let this man step on his dick big time in front of the entire nation and world and expose him for what he is. Whether you decide to grant this or not I will never ask another thing of you.' As we know that went unanswered. I often watch these speeches in hopes that another sole has used her last prayer but somehow tonight, I feel that * exposing his true self could send a panic across this country. peace, Kim

25. He's turning up the pressure to force Congress to take a bitchslap. |
|
Bush not only wants the Shock Doctrine power grab and the money, he wants to humiliate the Democrats just in time for the election.
And quite frankly, I literally would rather see a second Great Depression than give that psychopathic piece of shit one thin dime.

34. You think that this bailout will actually help matters? |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 01:25 PM by backscatter712
It won't. It's designed to look like Decisive Action (TM) when the reality is that it's a poorly thought out, insanely expensive gimmick. It's designed to force Congress's hand and leave the public with the perception that when they get in a fight with the Bushies, they have to take a hit, but they're too milquetoast to dish it out. It's designed to make the Democratic Party look like the Alan Colmes party.
The truth is that 700 billion dollars will be conjured out of thin air, and it will only accelerate the inflationary pressures on the dollar.
We're in a stagflation spiral, and this "bailout" isn't going to pull us out of it.

35. I don't think the bailout will work |
|
I think we are going to have a depression either way. Since 70 percent of our economy is consumerism then we are screwed either way. The next several years will not be pretty. If they do not do the bailout the depression happens anyway, if they do it the dollar will tank and it will happen regardless.
