2. When Rasmussen shows a Democrat in the lead,
...do you also dismiss the poll based on the source?

4. That place has a lot of libertarians living there.
I have no doubt, however, that the numbers can be improved enough that Obama can take the state.

7. This is a myth that needs to be debunked
There is no particular concentration of libertarians up here than there is anywhere else. NH is a mixture of old-school Rockefeller Republicans and Massachusetts transplants. The latter have been populating the southern areas of the state more and more over the last few decades, which has moved us into the barely-blue category.

A lot of people up here like McCain simply because he has thumbed his nose that the national Republicans, a group that conservatives here loathe as they've destroyed the GOP with fundamentalist Christian leanings.

So its going to be close, but Obama should be able to pull it out for him, esp if Kerry comes up to campaign for him.

8. I apologize.
I guess I haven't given enough thought to that issue.

6. We NEED New Hampshire
If Gore had won NH in 2000 we wouldn't be in this mess today.

We can't let NH slip away. I know this is probably a BS poll, but it should remind us how important this state is to have in our column.
