QUESTION for researchers: are there ANY polls SPECIFICALLY of those who voted HRC in the primaries? |
|
This could lay to rest a lot of the claims that HRC voters in very major numbers are voting for or considering McCain. Anecdotal evidence just doesn't cut it, especially when polls COULD easily be taken

1. Easily? How would you confirm that any person voted for HRC in a primary? |
|
Explain this "ease" in determining who voted for Hillary, and explain how it would exclude Rush Limbaugh "Operation Chaos" disrupters?

2. Obviously, as w/their opinions (how do u know they're honest?), you ASK them |
|
You sample xyz numbers of voters. You try to get a large sample reflective of the total vote, as well as the actual totals of those who voted in the primaries or caucuses in various areas, and then you cull out the HRC voters and ask them.
NO POLL IS FOOLPROOF
This poll might be applied specifically to particular states, asking for
(1) "did you vote in the primary in, say PA, OH, MO, or NH?
(2) If yes, what party primary? (does the % match closely, which it should given a sufficient sample size)
(3) If the Democratic Primary, for whom did you vote?
(4) Who are you now planning to vote for in Nov?
Obviously, polling is in practice more complex than this but this is a simple model. Sampling is highly complex in ALL modern polling, but the issues I raise are no more complicated than oodles of other polls.
