I always leave fake Pro-McCain messages for my uncle...
Like if I call his cell phone and get his messaging service I'll say something like "This is John Walking Eagle with the Natives for McCain Alliance, Senator McCain would sure appreciate your vote....etc" then I'll leave my number.

This is funny for a few reasons. First of all, we are Blackfeet Indian, and most Indians would never vote Republican.

Two, even though some do vote for Republicans, my family is a fairly prominent Indian Dem family in MT and my uncle used to be Mike Mansfield's senate page, he'd just as soon saw his arms off than vote for McCain.

And three, I use the name "Walking Eagle" because an eagle will only walk when it's too full of shit to fly.

That being said, a little humor never hurts. :)

And I still say watch the Indian vote in Montana, they love Obama and could just give him a win in that state. I think the state is still in play. :)

5. yeah I wouldn't discount it yet
Not after all the financial news lately, and with the debates to come. Popular Dems like Gov Schweitzer and Sen Baucus are up for reelection and will win handily, those voters might give Obama a shot.

2. Funny! And thanks for the background info.
(I think I remember something about your uncle being Mike Mansfield's page)

And PART of my fantasy is to get a big spread in Montana. Besides the breathtaking beauty, your Governor won me over. I'd like knowing he was watching over me!

:hi:

3. Oh I wouldn't mind getting the same thing myself
Hopefully I'll be moving back soon. Brian Schweitzer is awesome, so is Jon Tester, even ol' Max Baucus is a pretty good guy to have in our corner.

I ASSUMED since our guy was your avatar, you lived there. Well, maybe we'll be arriving at the same time. I'll swing by and say hi -- the place isn't too big, I'm sure I could find you. :7

7. I can't remember where I first heard that
But I did use it in my first ever published short story, so now any chance I get to use it in a joke I do, lol.
