The Perfect Obama Response to McCain's Suspension
I agree with Sen. McCain that economic issues are weighing heavily on the American people, and at this juncture, nothing could be more healthy than a debate about where we should go from here. So if the Commission on Presidential Debates is willing, I would like to suggest that the subject of our debate Friday night be changed to Economic Policy rather than Foreign Policy. Especially at this time, the Americna people deserve to hear competing ideas as to what our policy should be.

7. An empty chair should be set up for McCain.
That's been done before in other debates.

5. "I don't understand why Senator McCain has to go back to Washington."
The people responsible for these failed policies are sitting on his campaign bus.

16. Harry Reid told them both to stay away...
I'm sure the statement was cleared through the Obama campaign. Basically he said we don't need presidential politics intruding on the process.

LOL!

11. The pubbies would just label him an opportunist
"Obama is just using the suffering of millions of hard-working Americans as a ploy to score cheap political points. Pass me the smelling salts, I think I'm going to faint. We would never, never stoop to such depths" :puke:

14. Americans should want McCain's filthy, corrupt, anti-regulatory fingers off any bailout bill.

He is no populist. He is an economic moron. He has NEVER had the best interests of the middle class and the poor at heart.

15. From Obama: "Part of being President is handling several emergencies at once.
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 03:42 PM by democrat_patriot
It is telling that John McCain cannot handle more than one, and it yet to be seen if he can handle this one."
