having the news cycle hit you over the head with a rusty pipe.

It'll be interesting to see how this affects the race and how the corporate media spins this.

5. Not really--when the focus is on him, he loses. That's why he was so

anxious to make the election a referendum on Obama.

4. Obama has no choice but to capitulate or else he will look like he

putting politics before country.

6. Obama should say he's prepared to debate, and that it's important

for the country to see how the next President plans to deal with the world. That's not "politics", it's the future of our country.

I trust that he'll handle this well.... but it is worrisome until we see a little more of how the public is taking this.
