So McHoover grabs this news cycle for days to come....
No one here or in the corporate media will talk about anything else for the next week.

How does Obama get the focus back on his campaign?

1. Um...this isn't necessarily the kind of news you want. It looks chicken and desperate.

2. Right. There's grabbing the news cycle, and then there's
having the news cycle hit you over the head with a rusty pipe.

3. Let's face it, for McHoover any news coverage is good.
It'll be interesting to see how this affects the race and how the corporate media spins this.

5. Not really--when the focus is on him, he loses. That's why he was so
anxious to make the election a referendum on Obama.

4. Obama has no choice but to capitulate or else he will look like he
putting politics before country.

6. Obama should say he's prepared to debate, and that it's important
for the country to see how the next President plans to deal with the world. That's not "politics", it's the future of our country.

7. What other choice does this leave Obama?
McHoover has grabbed this story and now Obama can only react. Obama is smart and has smart people around him
I trust that he'll handle this well.... but it is worrisome until we see a little more of how the public is taking this.
