Folks, all Obama has to do is show up anyway - and it is WIN/WIN! |
|
Perfect!
The McBush team just handed Obama a real winner here.
All Obama needs to do is acknowledge the gravity of the financial crisis, but also challenge McBush to the concept that the nation's business of electing the next president of the united states will not be put on hold to focus on a Wall Street bailout.
Shit happens and presidents' need to multi-task.
If McCain changes his mind and shows for the debate, it will be obvious he deferred to Obama's greater wisdom (and changed his mind --- again --- on something important).
If McCain does not show, Obama can arrive as scheduled and field questions from the debate podium, or outside the building. Either way, he is there ready to debate. He showed up for round 1!!!
Both possibilities equals a public relations WIN for Obama, and a BIG one at that. :applause:
