The real reason for McCain delaying the debate should be obvious |
|
The subject matter of Friday's debate was to be foreign policy, the only area in which McCain still maintains a polling advantage over Obama. He wants the foreign policy debate rescheduled so that it is the last debate and the one freshest in voters' minds when they go to the polls. In the current atmosphere of overwhelming public concern about the economy he believes a foreign policy debate would quickly be forgotten and probably ignored.
Obama cannot permit McCain to manipulate his campaign or the debates.

WTF is Obama doing offering a "joint statement" on the bailout? this is the time to stick the knife in deep.
