These McCain people sure know how to shock. They've done it again.
1. The "challenge" to Obama for multiple town meetings the day after Hillary was gone. A lot of people got stunned by that one.

2. The Palin selection. Everyone caught off guard. Shocking. The media, the campaign, the public all got caught off-guard.

3. Now this call to delay the debates. And suspend his campaign! When has a campaign been temporarily suspended in September?

I wish the Obama camp had more of a boldness and outside the box mentality. They could have done some shocking of their own. But its been really conventional and boring to some degree. Here is Obama with a solid lead, the worst thing that could happen to the other side and the McCain camp in free-fall and right now OBAMA finds himself having to respond to this?

he is going to stay on an even keel until he reaches the whitehouse

McCains antics are worth an occasional bump - nothing more

8. McBush is cancelling his campaign for the moment, including the
debate tomorrow, because of the financial crisis. This from a man who hasn't cast a vote in many months, who's clueless on the economy, who's polling worse daily, and who has had the past 10 days since this crisis started to do something. But now it's critical. :eyes:

11. I need to take a cold shower, I need a slap - somebody slap me because this is just too unreal
to be reality.

Good Grief!!

...why doesn't Mccain just pull out of the GE now?

3. Think about it; precisely because Obama is so far ahead in the
polls is why McCain has taken this action. I'm not impressed with anyone's 'boldness'; they're running scared, but I guess you're too busy bashing Obama's 'conventional' campaign (BTW, it's not) to see that.

4. hmmm...
#1 - was a good shock. A good challenge.

#2 - desperate shock. To chose an unvetted person with so SO much baggage. Good move in the short run. Bad move in the long run.

#3 - EXTREMELY desperate shock. Pathetic really. I think most people will see through it.

I don't want my side to do desperation shocks. No, thanks.

9. Here are some DUzy shockers to expect from a McCain Admin
1) McCain gives the orders to invade Nigeria. Shocking, isn't it?

2) McCain recalls all embassy staff and the ambassador from France. Major shocker, huh?

3) McCain orders a thermonuclear device be dropped on Tehran. Humdinger of a shocker, eh?

12. Don't forget the Georgia crisis.
"We are all Georgians now" -- so I'm going to send Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (a.k.a. Lindsay Graham and Joe Lieberman) as my envoys.
