This is THREE underhanded moves in one by McCain, and should reveal him for who he is.

First, he lies to the Obama campaign about what he proposes to do (ONE). Then, he jumps the gun with an announcement to which they did NOT agree (TWO). Obama's people say the discussion was about issuing a joint statement and that dicussions on the statement were ongoing; nothing about postponing the debate.

Then McCain suggests postponing the debate (THREE).

He has revealed himself to be a liar and a coward.

Obama simply needs to say "Democracy doesn't grind to a halt because of a financial crisis. The American people now, more than ever, need to have a clear picture of the choices before them."
