Compromise: Move the Debates to DC!!!
Wouldn't that be the ultimate concession? Without calling McCain names (coward, loser), acknowledge the seriousness of the issue, and offer to debate in Washington, so that both candidates can fulfill their duties as Senators.

I don't see why it can't be that simple.

1. No... the suggestion of altering the debate schedule is ridiculous
Let the moderators switch the topic to the economy, and have that conversation before America.

6. Not the schedule, just the location.
I'm sorry, I thought I was clear.

Changing the topic would be awkward - both candidates would be speaking without prepared notes.
