New CNN Battleground polling (9/24)...Now you see why McCain is trying to change the subject!
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 03:28 PM by BluegrassDem
Colorado: Obama 51, McCain 47
Michigan: Obama 51, McCain 46
Montana: McCain 54, Obama 43
Pennsylvania: Obama 53, McCain 44
West Virginia: McCain 50, Obama 46

Kinda sucks about Montana, but it's not crucial. I'm really pleased with PA!!!!

:bounce:

This brings up an interesting question. Do you think Obama should leave Montana and move resources to West Virginia? Perhaps all WV needs is a little love?

4. Montana is the pitts, but PA and West Virginia are genuinely surprising.

7. Obama can win WV
All he has to do is talk about clean-coal technology.

5. Montana isn't a shock
I'd pegged it as a long shot even before he selected Caribou Barbie.

8. I'm disappointed by MT.
They have been moving left for years, and with their popular D governor, I thought we could bag them this time around. I would really like to see WV come back to the D fold, and I think it's possible. PA doesn't surprise me; the only surprise is that it took this long.

10. as a West Virginian, I say yes
Obama should come to Huntington. It's on the Ohio-KY border and any appearance there gets him coverage in WV, Ky and the battleground state of Ohio. Three for the price of one. Or he or Biden could do southern Ohio, as it's in the WV media market and would get noticed here
