McSUCKERPUNCH sneaks one in.
Between the 8:30 Obama call and McLiars announcement, somehow all the talking weasels got their orders. Lindsey Graham, Leiberman, all are on TV extolling this demonstration of leadership. For God's sake, I hope Obama calls this what it is. Sick, sick, sick!

2. I agree with you
He keeps trying to shoot from the hip, but forgets he needs to take the gun out of the holster first.

5. Desperate unhinged McCain running out of money
bleeding cash in supposedly safe states like NC and FL. Obama pounding him into the ground incessantly, and all McCain can do is cry uncle. Weak weak weak. Pathetic, actually.

11. The shills are going to be shills no matter what.
McCain could eat a live baby and they'd fawn over him.

No one else, on the other hand, is buying it. Even FNC was laughing at him.

13. So much for bipartisonship
Obama proposes joint statement. McCain proposes postponing debate. Obama says first we issue joint statement. McCain goes on TV a few minutes later...no joint statement.

14. Best part was Obama's response.
He just told the facts and let the press push him for details. The truth is so refreshing. He just let us decide whether this was a cynical political move by McLiar or something else.

17. Maverick or Eratic Nut Case
I was listening to a right wing radio show on the way home from work and the whacko was talking about how brilliant this move by the McCain campaign was and how they had really "punked" Obama. On what planet do these people live?

McChicken doesn't want to debate so he jumps in front of the TV cameras in a self-serving melodramatic grandstanding play to look leader-like. He just looks nuts to me. Just what we need in America - another psycho in the oval office.

When Obama explained that he had contacted McCain's office to see if they could issue a joint statement of solidarity on what needs to be included in any bailout package, I realized that the McCainites were making a bad faith move to grab the spotlight and claim they were the ones taking the initiative.

The third act will be what Bush has to say.

Honest to God, if Obama doesn't win this election, America is truly too stupid to survive. No more drama, vote for Obama.

Obama adopted the strategy of The Greatest. We've been impatient but today we see the brilliance of Obama's campaign.
