Obama needs to cancel his campaign.
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 03:42 PM by Bornaginhooligan
This idea of continuing to debate and campaign and run advertisements smells like a Rovian trap.

He needs to get out in front on this.

I'm very concerned.

Game over, man, game over.

1. What Obama needs to point out is that a President needs to focus on many things
NOT JUST ONE ISSUE

23. It is a (poorly executed) attempt at sarcasm imo
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 04:05 PM by nam78_two
I see a post of this kind here almost every other day-in the exact same style, pretty much the same content each time, but for some reason the posters appear to think it is hilarious and novel every single time -I guess some people don't ever tire of their own jokes ?

Yes, we all know there are lots of concern trolls here, but these heavy-handed and repetitive parody posts are also tiresome-well at least I find them tiresome (maybe some people find them funny). Of course, I guess it depends on who is doing it. Some people are able to pull off legitimately funny takes on it-I have seen some hilarious ones :D, but this one is just lame (at least imo -of course it could be because this is the 100th time I have seen this exact style/format used to make this point). Humor and sarcasm have a shelf life too.

18. If he does that, he loses
Mccain senses he's ahead and winning, and doesn't want to risk it with a debate. He's using the financial crisis as his excuse. Hopefully, Obama will not fall for it. We need more debate, not less.

They've put Palin in a cocoon. Now they're trying to put McCain in one. Don't let it happen. The world will not fall apart if there is a debate. That's bogus.

20. He should drop out of the race altogether!!!!
That would ease the anxiety of the Worry-Brigade, who can then go back to being mad at Republicans!!!!

22. Obama would fall for the trap by not campaigning.
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 03:50 PM by Boojatta
It's the tortoise and hare except that the tortoise proposes they both nap before the race. Meanwhile, the tortoise arranges to be awakened early and win the race while the hare is still sleeping.

24. Obama should NOT cancel his campaign...

McCain and Phil Gramm (remember him?) are largely responsible for the current crisis! This point needs to be drilled into Americans (I won't hold my breath) until McCain begins to look like the doddering fool that he really is.
