Barack Obama - The Smart Guy in the Room |
|
Now that we have the "Crisis of the Century" that no one seems to know how to avert, the American people may be starting to think that it's not so bad to have the smart guy in the Oval Office when the the s-it hits the fan. Snowmobiles and First Dudes and the Man of a Million Cars and Homes might not seem so important now to Joe SixPack. "Having a beer" with the next President might not be as important as picking the "smart fella" who might be able to cobble together some ideas to make things better and save everyone's ass, whatever color - Black, white, brown, rainbow. Maybe that's why Barack is moving in the polls.
Just sayin' and just hopin' because it puts a new spin on the fear game.

1. Advantage to Obama; who looks Presidential, being President means you have to do several |
|
things at once, you don't have to suspend something. Can be anywhere, anytime, if needed.

is more related to the public, by a 2/3 majority, faulting the Repubs on the economic meltdown. I don't think it's a referendum on Obama's brains or economic acumen. I think it's a party-wide belief rather than individual to him.
