Can McCain show up and save face? I don't think so. |
|
Obama had to do this press conference because the chances of the debate happening are slim.
Look at how McCain reacts to pwnage - shuts down, closes up and stands behind Palin.
I don't think he'll show up in MS.

1. I was asking this morning if he'd get booed. |
|
I was thinking of the primary debates when some of Obama's opponents took shallow, cheap shots and ended up getting booed.
I'm wondering now if they'll just boo the prick on principle.

3. McCain is screwed either way. |

He shows up, he looks like a jerk. He doesn't show up, he looks like a jerk.

How great would it be for Obama to answer the debate questions without McLiar there? He could take all the planned questions and prove on his own that he's will, able, and ready to take on the role of President and to lead this nation!!
Debate headquarters who plan all of the debates say the debate is on and things are moving forward as planned!
YES!
EDIT:
What if McLiar decides to not attend the debate and sends Palin in his absence?? Obama would be pinned a bit because he wants to go with the debates, but McCain could weasel out and send his Moose. What then?

5. Oh, he'll say that "I felt it was best to settle the economic crisis but my opponent decided to play |
|
politics, and so reluctantly I decided to come to the debate since he turned down my offers of town meetings." Something like that, it won't work.

6. Only if congress resolves this before Friday night... THEN McCain can show up... |
|
McCain's saving face is now entirely in Reid and Pelosi's hands.
How beautiful is THAT?
