McCain preempts Obama-McCain joint statement. What a sleazy rat.
I lost any respect I might have had for John McCain when I saw the 'Bush hug' photo.
Bush and his campaign gutted McCain in the 2000 primaries.
Dirty gutted.

When I saw McCain hugging Bush at a 2004 campaign appearance it turned my stomach.

But this shows the bastard's true colors.
Obama reaches out in a true non-partisan attempt to help this nation and McCain's bully boys use it to jump the gun and make it look like it's all McCain's idea.

What a crock of shit and what a bunch of sleazy scumbags.
And why am I not surprised?

2. I wonder if that's the reason why he chose to 'suspend' his campaign
Because he knew it would come out that Obama had been behind trying to reach out for a joint statement, and that it would make McCain look less statesmanlike in comparison.

3. That's why Obama's press conference was BRILLIANT ...
It explained the timeline (he called BombBomb FIRST) and it
put out the basic points that WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE JOINT
STATEMENT (so everyone will know what they agreed upon).

If McLame votes against this bill -- even if it has the
changes/protections Obama enumerated during his statement --
then it will further expose BombBomb for the craven
political hack that he is.

Obama shoots, OBAMA SCORES!!!
