Joe Biden puts me in a good mood...
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 04:48 PM by Wetzelbill
I just watched him speak in Indiana online, and I don't know what it is, but whenever I hear him speak I just get this big stupid grin while listening to him. The guy has been great for the last month, he really has. I said before, I think he was born for this moment and he knows he's part of history right now.

He's really connecting with people in those small and mid-sized communities, don't discount for a second the good that he's doing there.

As I said, Biden puts me in a good mood, he's a likeable guy. I think it's partly because he tells interesting little stories. It reminds me of people who would come visit my parent's house out on our farm when I was a kid. We'd always have a relative, neighbor or friend over for coffee or dinner etc and they'd tell entertaining stories.

I'm a writer, those stories shaped me, I have always wanted to be an entertainer like that. To me, I thought it was the greatest thing in the world to be a storyteller. Why? Well everybody likes an entertaining person. You are always invited in for coffee, for lunch, for dinner, people open up their lives and family to you. So I've known lots of characters who know exactly how to work a room and have people hanging on their every word.

Joe Biden is like that. :)

on edit:

I should say, he's somebody I would like to trade stories with, that might be it. :)

5. He's GOT to be mocking McCain in that picture.
His posture and facial expression say so, and so does Michelle's "oh no you didn't!" expression.

Awesome.

8. Such a great candidate, great person

I have to admit that of all of the surprises this year, Joe Biden has been one of the greatest for me. I watched him closely in the Iowa primaries years ago, then lost track. Both candidates really, profoundly good people.

Tom Harkin of Iowa is very much the same way, and also well known for good lines, good stories. "Bush was born on third base and thought he hit a triple."

14. He speaks the words of the people. He's raw...While Obama is cool and calm...
Biden is raw, in your face, frustated and angry. They make up both of the DU people. Those who are calm collected and gathers the infor and the majority of us who are fuckin' pissed.
