3. I hope that Obama can get people who have a calm gravitas like Daschle and Kerry out today

to explain that while having Obama and McCain agree on broad principles (which they are close to) and to communicate that to the legislators on their respective side, they aren't needed to write the actual legislation. Neither are on the banking committee, nor have they ever been there. That committee and its staffers will write the legislation.

What would McCain and Obama do ine DC? They should both come to vote for it.
