So, now that's over with just HOW far down is their own data showing them to be?
There can be no other explaination, surely. They've been crunching the numbers and barring some sort of diaster for Obama / McCain - successfully - grabbing on to the zeitgeist and managing to cling on, it must look disastrous for them. Truly disastrous.

..with his latest antics I'm wondering if that might ultimately prove to be a gross slur on a Presidential candidate who, in comparison to this dross, ran an impeccable campaign.
