This is the worst political stunt ever. |
|
It will not work. It is erratic behavior and Americans aren't interested in erratic right now, they are looking for stability and leadership. McCain has lost.

1. No lie. He looks like a total coward, grasping at straws. The kindest interpretation |
|
is, he's actually deranged/delusional enough to think that running from the debate somehow helps the economy.
As another poster put it on another thread: "McFucked."

When Perot suspended his campaign because he was worried black-clad ninjas were plotting to ruin his daughter's wedding... that was right up there.

8. I don't know....after the last eight years, Perot's story doesn't seem so far-fetched. |
|
I thought he was nuts at the time, but I wouldn't doubt at all that some of the "dark forces" really were screwing with him.

11. I always thought that Perot made up that ridiculous story because |
|
he really had a chance to win the election and he really didn't want to be President. Worked too. Maybe McCain has had second thoughts, or a new medical report, and he doesn't want it either.

I just wrote almost the exact same words a few minutes ago! http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=7169148&mesg_id=7169429McCain's poll numbers are REALLY going to drop after this stunt. Obama's 'No Drama' strategy is kicking ass.
