Barr's simple minded libertarian views play pretty well during this economic meltdown.
Plus Obama has likely spent ZERO time preparing to debate someone with Bob Barr's views.

it would be nice to get Barr's name in the news however for those conservatives who are aghast that McCain has obviously chickened out.
