My 2 cents on McCain trying to get out of the debate
If McCain wants to he can go to the Senate during the day and then to the debate @ night ......
they are not mutually exclusive .... sometimes the lies coming from McCain / Palin are just so over
the top.

5. When I first heard it today I thought you have to be kidding
Go to the Senate during the day and the debate @ night ..... :grr:

Although, sadly I am suspending all flirting w/ the EDVs
and telling them they are "My Fav" because of the economy.

2. But what about his afternoon nap time?
No nap, no debate. That's not negotiable.

3. Or is it because Sarah did something so bad in today's CBS interview
that they want us to have something else to talk about...

4. He made himself look like a fool today.
Like I said, his campaign is crushed and he made it known today. We are not stupid. He handed Obama the election today.

The word is called MULTITASK. If you want to be President you can't pick and choose what to take care of. You can't put one thing off to take care of another. When McCain gets the phone call at 3am what is he going to do put it on hold? No he needs to be kicked right to Arizona. If Palin wants to go she can be kicked too.

And as I type they are trying to delay the VP debate. The McCain campaign is afraid, very afraid.

10. When you're overmatched, you shorten the game. In football, you reduce the number of plays
in the game by running the clock, hope the outcome comes down to just a few critical plays. Who knows...in a game of horse shortened to just the "h" it's feasible I could beat a pro basketball player...one or two shots anything can happen.

This is what's happening to the POTUS race. The more exposure McCain Palin have, the more it is clear who's qualified...so they hide from questions, press, debates and keep things a mystery. On top of that, McCain might have a money disadvantage so calling off the campaigns would benefit him a lot. I bet they'd like it much better if the election were just a couple of weeks after the convention...not time to get to the heart of the bios and the issues. Since they had two whole months between the convention and the election there had to be another strategy of deception. This is the McCain camp approach...a bit desperate but not without some foundation in logic.
