Brokaw comments make me think, "McCain thinks he's still in Viet Nam!"
On MSNBC Brokaw compared McCain's odd tactics to guerilla moves, lying in wait, pulling more than one "ambush" (Palin and debates).

Sounds like John McCain thinks its 1967 and he's a Viet Kong guerilla!

He certainly isn't being rational, professional, or presidential.

2. Except that McCain never encountered the VC in that capacity.
He was a pilot after all.

4. No he didn't, the analogy was striking nonetheless.
Guerilla tactics are what you're left to use when you're outgunned and desperate.

6. the comparison was mine, not Brokaw's...
He just suggested that McCain is using these unusual tactics and that they have been working but only working "so far"...

Brokaw still sucks :)

It reminds me of what Andrea Mitchell said a while ago (a couple of months ago)..when McCain dislikes someone, he takes everything so god damn personally! I think he really does resent the fact that he is not really the media darling anymore. He'd do anything to grab the spotlight away from his bc he is a fucking diva, just like with his Sarah Palin pick. Drama first. Country last.

11. McCain's not making many friends anywhere lately...
Dodging the media, shielding Palin from any meaningful interaction.

What a trainwreck....

Wow.
