How stupid can one man be? How stupid can one campaign be? Obama makes the call for a unified statement, which if McCain had stopped to think, would have separated him out from some of the heat that is going to hit the Bush camp.

But nooooooo...not old fly by the seat of my pants, McCain.. instead he gets out and tries to pull a fast one on Obama, but of course Obama is not going to fall for that.

The man could not even take advantage of such a gesture, that would not have benefited Obama, but would have benefited him politically.

But nooooo, he is that self absorbed and that stupid.

McCain give Palin a run for her money in dense.

2. Obama almost shot himself in the foot by offering McCain that olive branch.
Fortunately, McCain is an idiot.

4. There is some truth to that..but Obama was looking at the greater good
which in this case would have hauled McCain out of the fire, if McCain had been bright enough to see it

11. No, he didn't ... BO did what he pretty much ALWAYS does ...
he did the RIGHT THING ... He didn't think about himself, he wasn't looking for a political angle, he simply was doing the right thing.

The man has some SERIOUS tao and zen working for him, and this is why. In a crooked A game, he is playing it completely straight, and things just work out for him - frustrated the mess out of Hill, and doing the same to McCain.

12. Well, isn't that just desserts? Obama wanted to do
what was best for our country and mccain wanted to pull a political gimmick a la palin.

Obama was giving him his hand to help mccain out the quicksand and mccain bit it.

Invaluble lesson Obama learned today.

Thanks Peacetrain~MROP
