Obama needs to show up Friday night all prepared to give a major, live, policy/campaign speech.

Obama needs to show up Friday night all prepared to give a major, live, policy/campaign speech.
If McCain doesn't show up all the networks will still be there ready to cover the debate and virtually all networks have already cleared out that space for the debate. Thus if he were to speak he would be covered, nationally, for free.

If he plays this exactly right we couldn't ask for more: virtually unlimited national television, live, for our candidate to speak without interruption from McCain.
