7. Oh no, it's huge!
Hi GPV, McCain is ducking Friday's debates.

Obama called him at 830 am to discuss meeting up to make a joint statement on economy, possible suspension of campaign activities.

McCain was busy with interviews while Obama waited for return call, which came at 2:30. McCain said nothing about having decided to pull the plug.

About 30 minutes later McCain's camp announced that he'd postponed the debate in order to focus on the economy.

BTW, McCains people say they reached out to Obama, bullshit.

Obama came out and basically described what had happened and said his side is planning to debate this Friday, that presidents need to be able to do more than one thing at once.

=============

How are ya? :hi:

10. "possible suspension of campaign activities" -- I haven't heard ANYONE say that Obama suggested ...
... suspending campaign activities. I watched Obama's press conference and he only mentioned the effort to put together a joint message between the campaigns.

The campaign suspension is all McCain, from what I've heard/seen.

22. Replay the tape or find the transcript.
I believe that during Qs and As it was mentioned that they had discussed this, not that Obama suggested it.

If I'm wrong, please check and let me know.

8. Ah, he's been down on McCain for some time now -
but he does Obama no favors -- he still tells his listeners to vote McCain. Who in the hell can stand even listening to that guy is what I want to know.
