OMG!

BOTOX: While most people have no problems when taking Botox, side effects are possible. In clinical studies, commonly reported side effects included droopy eyelids, muscle weakness, and difficulty swallowing.

In studies of Botox for cosmetic use (to improve the appearance of lines between the eyebrows), common side effects included:

Droopy eyelids -- in up to 3 percent of people

http://www.aboardcertifiedplasticsurgeonresource.com/botox/side-effects.html

Potential BOTOX® Complications
A small percentage of patients develop eyelid drooping. If eyelid drooping does occur, it is usually gone within three weeks. The eyelid drooping is caused by migration of the BOTOX® from the treated area to an adjacent area. This is why you shouldn't rub the treated area for at least twelve hours after your BOTOX® procedure and why you are told not to lie down for three to four hours after treatment.

13. Look at him on the video!
What is that, if not Botox?
He would have been getting injections because he is going to be debating Obama on Friday. He would have just gotten shots, so that it would be "fresh".

The man is 72 years old. It's not a hard question as to why he would do it. It is clear his wife gets those injections too.

Watch the tape of him: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=385&topic_id=197168&mesg_id=197168

21. Actually, I think it's being caused by the gland issue in his mouth... the skin is stretching down..
I don't believe it's botox. I've heard that the bump on the side of his mouth is caused by a gland issue which in turn was caused by the skin cancer surgeries to his face.

25. Here's a good article about McCain's successful surgery in 2000.
I just read about the gland removal yesterday.

23. I'm serious -- his forehead looks awfully smooooth in that tape. Not saggy
at all.

And, he has never been a 6-7 day a week campaigner - he always takes a few days off. Could he be getting freshened up? I'm thinking it's entirely possible. I'm hoping he gets carried away and gets the Priscilla Presley look.

32. Here's one link:
http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/seattlepolitics/archives/149531.asp

"US Weekly is reporting that John McCain paid $5,583 to TV makeup artist Tifanie White, who has worked on American Idol. The expense is included in Big Mac's Federal Election Commission filing."

LOL! Looks like we only found out about it because he included it in his FEC filing. He should have just paid for it with his own money and nobody would have known. Talk about incompetence!

33. The other candidates (listen to me -- like I know what I'm
talking about :eyes:) don't wear makeup during appearances and when they go on TV the TV show's makeup people powder them down.

I think.

Maybe this includes makeup for Sarah -- they're always together so Tifanie (!) could attend to both of them.

I'm also going to keep a look out for that droopy eye that suddenly appeared -- and see if it disappears in a few days.

Today, he almost had that Tom Kaine always elevated right eyebrow - it never came down. His left eyebrow, like the eyelid, was at half-mast.

he said he looked gross. BTW, we have HD on the main set and I noticed it too. I told hubby he's probably getting a cold or something.

16. The cluster headache picture might not help prove your theory
Botox is used to treat cluster headaches. The symptoms of cluster headaches is droopy eye, tearing, congestion, etc. I get them and they are a b*tch. My doc has suggested botox but I am afraid to do it.

The picture of McCain does look as if something has gone terribly wrong though.

I noticed a difference in mccain's face ..it's usually puffy but smooth...the latest pic looked deflated. And I gave about one second of my time in thinking about it.

...and it took way too much Botox to get him to look younger than 100.

If that were the case, it would be a lot less damaging to just admit it rather than to pull out of the debate and suspend the campaign.

Maybe possible paralysis or stroke or something. The entire left side of his face looks weird.
