It is a perfect logical decision by McLame and his camp!!!
Would you have McLame Debate Obama if you KNEW he would get his ass kicked?

Would you have McSame debate if you knew he was losing it?

NO. They have obviously made a decision that canceling hurts them less than debating does. So it is a logical choice.

Just like keeping Palin away from the press is hurting her less than having a press conference would.

They know they are in bad shape but making decisions to keep it as close as possible!

1. (shrug) From the premises: You're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't....
Only one conclusion follows.

2. I actually thought that Obama was going to lose.
Of course he would win if debates were about information. But they're about soundbites, and McCain is good at delivering those snippets during the debates.

3. I agree with your analysis.

Of course the ultimate losers are the American People but McCain is primarily focused on obtaining power. So he now runs back to Washington and plays the role of the rooster taking credit for the sunrise, while hoping the corporate media continue to act as teenage Beetle's fans over Palin's corporate media created "celebrity".

Thanks for the thread, KansasVoter.

4. There's an important maxim in chess ...
You are unlikely to win a game by playing for a draw.

I think this is a risky play they plan to hammer Obama with. From what I'm seeing, it was a very bad move. Almost nobody is buying it and I'd happily play chess against those that are.
