could somebody fill me in
I've been at work all day, I get home and the world is falling apart. First of all, is McCain just trying to get Palin out of her debate? Does he really think by pulling ads he will be able to spin Obama as "partisan" or whatever? When is Bush speaking? Some enlightened DU reporting please. What the hell is going on?

2. McCain is refusing to show up for the debate on Friday,

and is suspending his campaign until the financial situation is straightened out.

Obama is refusing to capitulate, and says he'll be in Mississippi.

4. McCain has suspended his campaign.
LOL I guess he thinks a) the public wants the bailout and b) it's Obama's fault.

5. There's all kinds of speculation. A bad Botox job might be it, since
he even cancelled his appearance on Letterman tonight. Or it could just be that he's trying to use a cheap political trick. Or he wants Palin's debate postponed because he finally realized she's an idiot.

My bet is all 3. He got a bad Botox job so didn't want to appear in public, which is actually fotuitous for him since he will lose his debate with Obama, AND he can use the same economy excuse to sheild Palin for another week or two.

7. Kinda sorta. There have been a couple of threads with
pictures that do look rather suspicious. :)
