Not saying it not completerly irrelvant. But an African Pasto laying hands on someone is certainly normal in Africa and it is not exactly "abnormal" is these parts earlier. Africans have for ages believed in people with special powere. It is culturally normative there.

2. I didn't watch KO, but the clip I've seen is probably strange for most...
the whole "witchcraft" aspect of what the guy is saying and the laying on of hands. It'll freak Catholics out.

4. Witch HUNTER, not witch doctor.
I believe this guy tracked down a 'witch' in Africa.

23. It was mentioned on KO that women have been murdered.
Apparently women are harassed, threatened and even killed in these witch hunts.

Most people in our "culture" don't think witches cause traffic accidents.

10. The point he was making was: Why isn't this getting Rev. Wright levels of coverage?
He and his guest commentator (I forget his name) discussed the fact that the witch hunts in Kenya are sometimes not without casualties and are not a very esteemed practice.

Aside from that, he posed the 'What if this had been Obama standing there?' question. Indeed.

Talking about witches is NOT normal here and I doubt the folks who will be utterly creeped out by this know a lot about the nuances of African culture.

16. KO Said he persecuted the woman in Kenya.
KO said the pastor "threatened the woman with bodily harm and ran her out of town".

That's pretty much a direct quote.

That is very serious.

And same answer to you multiple posts!

But my response was to the OP about practices that are supposedly "normative" and in this case, this is not "normative" (when applied to modern-day Christianity).
