My perception of Alaskans took a nose dive this year

Those sorts of people are all over, every state has them. AK is quite a place, and has some very interesting and involved and decent people.

Even though we are an overwhelmingly blue state, we elected a Republican governor just so we can call him "the Governator." I will cast no stones at Alaska, their backwards ways or their scary brain-dead governor. :P

10. That's probably the same way I'm feeling about my fellow "Americans".

For 8 years running now. The fact that Obama's not at least 10-15 points ahead of McClown after 8 years of Bewsh solidifies that view.

and partly because of Sarah "I'llBringEmToYa!" Palin's favorable rankings have tanked.
