I mean, he picks someone who isn't qualified for VP, he attempts to postpone the debate. I don't know. A part of me thinks he's so pissed off at the repub establishment for not letting him pick the VP of his choice that he's basically saying "Screw You" to the repubs.

Or else he really sucks at campaigning.

3. I think the man has the worst advisers in the history of any
political campaign - they definitely cannot shot from the hit - their rush to compensate for Obama's campaign successes are disasters.

4. No. He really wants to win!
That's what is so scary, and yet fascinating about all of this.

5. No some people become so drunk and delusional with their power and position that

they BELIEVE they can do any damn thing and slide by. Hell! It's worked for Bush and Cheney for almost eight years, why shouldn't an equally sociopathic personality like McCain think that he could "take control" just because HE COULD.

7. That doesn't SEEM like it would be the INTENT of the past 3 weeks but it
would explain the EFFECT.

Either McCain's infinitely smarter than everybody (unlikely) or someone is sabotaging that campaign.

No, I haven't ruled out gross stupidity.

8. I'm sure some people think that
But some people think all sorts of crazy stuff.

I, for one, don't think that at all. I think he's desparately trying to figure out a way not to lose the election. Picking Palin helped for a short while, but it wasn't the magic bullet. So he moves on to the next crazy thing. There will be more, I would imagine.

9. No. He's just a hot head who has a considerable opponent far and above his league.

in a sense -- do we think HE decided to send thirty of his staff to Alaska to

strangle "troopergate" investigation....?

And his campaign is in financial trouble --

McCain's anticipating a well-orchestrated and financed STEAL -- conducted by others --
