7. I mentioned the eye last week... |
|
I watched McCain's speech live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa--and his left eye was half shut during his entire speech. It was so bad, I thought he was squinting from the sun.
It was very obvious to me.
You noticed it too, huh?
I think they must have him on major tranquilizers or something.

24. Maybe that's how he looks when... |

...he's exhausted.
I think it's a combination of mood-altering sedatives and frustration that he can't negatively impact Obama.

25. Could it be Bells Palsy? |

It can really mess with the speech when in the throws of an attack. Perhaps he doesn't want to appear to be ticking at the debate?
I've known public speakers that have it and it fits the bill here.

Shirley Temple Black was active for a spell in Republican politics.
She'd have been a far better candidate than McCain, probably.

21. There are 50 states - all with their own ballot laws |
|
You know, this kind of question comes up here a lot.
Reading the Constitution is not hard. It is written in very simple language.
The bottom line is that the manner in which states choose their electors is up to the states.
At this point in time, there are states which have already sent out absentee ballots, and people are already voting.
It is too late to change the names on those ballots, and there is no way to exercise national control over the manner in which states select their electors.

You could provide your version without the snark?
So in theroy, if McCain/Palin ticket won, McCain would be elected even if he had to drop out, then Palin would have to rely on the 25th Amendment and have him removed as President and then she would get to select her VP?
