We are all going to have some rough days ahead |
|
Money and jobs will be tight.
Although we'll be on our way to getting out of Iraq, it'll take some time to do it right.
We're going to find out that the Bush administration is far worser than we've ever imagined.
A lot of people are still going to be angry and rightfully so.
There's a lot of hard work ahead to reverse years of Republican malfeasance and incompetence.
We've lost a lot of potential for good, because of how they set us back.
Our next President is going to be taking hits from a lot of different sides.
So what can we do?
Not get complacent.
Stay informed.
Help those who are trying to help us stay focused on what's important.
Guard against those who would try to take us back to the old ways, or even worse ways.
Dance with your children.
Stay active.
And never, ever give up on your principles.

I suspect you're right...
We can do it...
Right alongside our new President Obama and Vice President Biden...
Yes We Can!

I think that the Republican lip flapping is all about protecting the rich cronies of the Bush crowd. If we remember that every major move that Bush has made has been on the heels of making American's fearful of the unknown, we can resist this rush to bail out the fat cats at the top of the financial markets. I truly think that the only crisis is with the people who have been building houses of cards...credit cards. The people who have been prudent (most Americans) are just fine.

Once the euphoria of our victory dies down, that's when the shocking truth will be revealed
The bill's coming due
All I'm saying is STAY FOCUSED

President Obama will have his hands full and will need us to maintain our own equilibrium enough to help make the changes this country needs. It is not going to be easy.
Call on inner strength as never before and reach out to every friend and neighbor.
It can be done.
