A comment re: a change for Obama ads

I was chatting with people over the weekend, one was a rather influential retired person from the Delaware political scene and the comment made was that they would change one thing about the Obama ads. The complaint was alot of them are flat pics and alot are him in front of books or a podium. He would like to see more pics in his ads of the crowds that Obama is drawing - say in Lancaster (PA), Florida, Ohio, etc.

I made the comment that he was probably staying away from such pics due to the 'Celebrity' ad that McCain made. One person said that what the other guy does shouldn't effect your campaign enough that it compromises the message. The feeling was it is important for freepers to see themselves in the audiences that Obama draws.

That needs to get out there.
