8. The man is an attention hog, hence Couric interview and this speech
He is ducking the debate to take away attention toward Obama, and making a pretense of stopping the campaign, but instead he is taking the limelight away from Obama with the Couric interview and this speech and probably other interviews where he will grandstand and act like the good ideas are all his. Palin also gets attention with her Couric interview, but unfortunately for Palin, she dodged and weaved or gave weak inaccurate answers that even Couric called her out on.

11. Does Obama get to respond to this horseshit?
I hope he hammers McCain for stealing his plan and then moves back into statesman mode. McCain's using this as a campaign event!!

12. Good grief.
He's taken Obama's entire proposal and is telling it like it was his idea. He is such a grandstanding liar, and Obama should insist the debate go on as scheduled.

13.  McDiaper! That may be the best nickname yet.
I thought McDiaper was "suspending" his campaign? This is hardly what I call not campaigning. And why is he stealing Obama's ideas again? This man does not have an original idea in his body.

25. His last chance and hope for Hillary 2012 is McCain
You better believe he's going to pump McCain up at every opportunity. I'm done with Clinton. It's been a roller-coaster this year with him and I used to respect him a great deal. I'm done with him - he's done more to hurt our party and our candidate this year than any Republican could ever dream of doing.
