Can someone tell me why MccSame was invited to give the |
|
opening speech at the CLINTON Global Initiative?? Which by the way is just another stump speech on the campaign he suspended.

1. Because I think it's becoming clear that Clinton is throwing his weight behind McCain |
|
He should either do his best to help Obama, or stay out of the spotlight.
It boggles the mind that Clinton would try so hard to help republicans after what they put him and the country through in the 1990's. Did he forget? Was it just a game to him?

But most of you aren't socialists, so I don't know if you'll accept my explanation.

7. Because if Obama wins, he'll probably be in office until 2016. |
|
Hillary will be 69 then! It's hard enough for a 70yr old man to win; practically impossible for a 70 yr old woman. Americans are less forgiving of old age in women.
Nope, if she's going to be president, it'll have to be in 2012. And McCain will be lucky to make it through one term.

8. Does anyone know if Obama was invited? |
|
I've been good about staying out of the Bill Clinton threads but today really annoyed the hell out of me. This is getting ridiculous.

10. I believe Obama is going to give the closing speech - that's |
|
what I heard on one of the morning shows (I think MSNBC).

11. ok, good. I'm glad to hear that. |
|
As long as Obama was invited and is speaking, then I'm ok with McCain speaking...even though he lied about where he was going to be.

9. You have to invite people from both sides of the partisan line. |
|
That's how you get stuff done in Washington.
Besides, there's the sport of seeing what he'll say that's stupid.
