Obama CANNOT under any circumstances let the VP DEBATE be moved!
If he does then they win this round.

I am sure he knows this but if the VP debate is moved it will never happen!

The VP debate is the final straw for Quaylin and she knows it!!

2. He won't--these debates are set in stone, pretty much, and would be
very costly to rearrange. If Obama shows up tomorrow night (very likely), McCain will either have to, or forfeit, but that won't affect next week.

6. But but but it would not be a debate if McCain does not show up!

7. I would LOVE it if America tuned in and it was just Obama and the moderator
and an empty chair. I would love for America to see the war hero turned into a cut-and-run chickenshit coward.

4. I doubt he will allow that. Phalin is scared to debate Joe but too bad.
She has to face the music and if they can't cram it all in her brain by the VP debate well that is just too damn bad.

5. Additionally, the VP debate next week should not be moved either.
I think that is next on their list to cancel.. just like they are trying to cancel Palin's trial for trooper-gate. McCondo seems to be drunk with power and he thinks he can just change or ignore the rules if he doesn't like them. A true repuke, through and through.

8. It does not matter. If Palin does not debate it is an even bigger story,
Obama will not need to press the issue other than perfucntory objections saying he is trying to accomodate a chage. THe Press will excoriate McCain on his choice,

9. I agree... let her bypass the debate... that hurts them more than if she does badly in it.

11. I have to disagree... that only hurts with those really paying attention
The endlessly rerun videos of her actually crashing and burning at a debate would be an ongoing and visceral story, when by comparison, ducking out of the debate (with an excuse, although a lame one) would be a much shorter-lived talking-heads story with not nearly the gut impact to casual or undecided voters.

10. Joe 'happy warrior' Biden
will have some input with Obama (I presume) and I'm sure he's chomping at the bit to kick some Mooseburger ass.
