Call me nuts but I think Cindy McCain & 1/2 the Repubs in Congress are gonna secretly vote for Obama |
|
I really do. Maybe not quite half of them, but I bet a bunch of them will do so. I don't think any of them will admit it for at least 10 years, but I honestly think that once they're alone in that voting booth, a bunch of them are going to pull the lever for Obama because even THEY are so concerned about our country going down the toilet so much that they secretly want to see Obama get elected because it will be in THEIR best interests, too, to elect the man that they KNOW is their only chance at righting the ship.
I also think that a great number of everyday Republican voters, the ones who have brains anyhow, are going to do the same thing come November by voting Democrat and not telling their friends about it....at least not revealing what they did until some brave souls start spilling the beans, and then some of the others will also start admitting it, too.
Ten years from now, after they're long divorced, I can just see the title of the best selling book written by the most recent ex-wife of John McCain: "I Secretly Voted for Barack Obama" by Cindy McCain.

1. Can poor fragile Princess Cindy exert herself that much? |
|
Will she be able to medicate herself enough to go through with that arduous task?

4. A Democratic victory in November could also be very beneficial |
|
to the Republican Party. An Obama victory could pave the way for the Republicans to start purging the flagrant crooks like Carl Rove from their leadership and replace them with politicians who are less prone to using criminal tactics to obtain power.
Do I think they will agree with me? No.

9. You're probably very right |

I would imagine that more than a few Repukes are sick and tired of the Rovian way and playing so dirty. It might work for a while, but it ultimately comes back to kick them in the asses as we're seeing right now. I think a lot of them secretly wish they had an "Obama" to lead their party in an honest fashion instead of with McCain, who is just following in Bush's and Rove's footsteps down the path to further ruins.

right. Ultimately, that will turn out to be another fiasco for the "religion in politics" lovers.

But she sure wishes she was married to Obama instead of McNut.
Last week, when McNut was ripping on Barbra Streisand and Obama's "Hollywood celebrities" Cindy was standing behind him with a sad, wistful look on her mug. She's another Nancy Reagan, a fluffy socialite who would love nothing better than to rub elbows with the A list. But sadly, she's reduced to Wilford Brimley and you *know* this galls her. When I saw the look on her face I laughed my ass off. Should have married a Democrat, honey.

11. I don't think Cindy, but I was thinking the same last night about some GOpers in the Congress |
|
McCain is off-the-hizzee right now. I think there are plenty of straight-thinking GOP reps who are going to pull the switch against him.

13. I DON'T think you're nuts - I think it's possible |
|
that some good Republicans hate what Bush/Cheney have done and want a break from that whole thing.
But I also hope it's true because I also think plenty of Dems will secretly vote for McCain because of secret rascism.
