So Bush wants to use Socialism to save Capitalism on Wall Street? |
|
How delightfully ironic- Capitalists often speak of socialism with anger and gritted teeth, as if it were evil incarnate- Yet Bush is determined to use socialism to save capitalism on wall street. Hey, I thought Republicans opposed taxpayer paid government handouts- so how can Bush justify his support for the bailout? Seems to me capitalism isn't the perfect system it's devotees claim it to be...Of course Bush and his minions will spin this in some way to serve their twisted interests.

1. It's not socialism he's proposing. It's corporatism aka fascism. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CorporatismIf it was socialism, the corporations would be taken over by the government and the profits disseminated to the people. The opposite is happening here.

3. Why not use the $ to help the little guy? |
|
I'd rather these billions of dollars go to families struggling to keep their homes- you know, the kind of people Republicans spit on...Americans
