What Suspension? - McCranky is still running ads and Sully is on the case.
What Suspension?
from The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan by Andrew Sullivan

A reader writes:

Just thought you'd like to know that McCain ads are still running here in South Florida. Saw one this morning during the Today Show.

Hmmm. Another reader:

I know TV ad's are hard to get down but I was treated to 2 ads this morning (the congressional friends ad and one other) during my morning news. This was on a local channel here in West Michigan, not national cable.

If you have seen a McCain ad on TV today, let me know.

2. I work in advertising and...
it takes at least 24 hours at minimum to pull TV ads. Since McCain didn't make the announcement until 4:30PM, the station ad logs for Early Morning were already closed.

Not buying it.

This just shows that McCranky is either a liar, inept, or (most likely) both.

7. Which goes to show what a fucking lie this all is. If it was that critical, he could have pulled the
ads on Tuesday; things haven't changed all that drastically.

I don't accept his--or your--excuse.

8. I'd almost buy that if he hadn't spoken at the CGI conference today.
But he did and I'm calling him a liar for it now.

3. They'll just say the ads were already paid for and scheduled.
Like the road to nowhere excuse that is being used. McCain gets the publicity regarding his 'laser beam' focus on the economy, then conducts business as usual. Rovian politics are rampant the last 24 hours.

10. They haven't stopped in Ohio either, so he does the
dog and pony show about suspending his campaign when he knows the ads are already in the pipeline and will go on anyway. What a f---- dishonorable piece of stinking shit he is.
