actually offered me money for it, i just gave it to her. She was away for a few days and noticed the new McCain/Palin sign on my next door neighbor's lawn and it made her crazy. She said she would make a donation and order some signs for herself but she said it was an "Emergency".

2. it feels that way to me. Every morning when i go to get my newspapers off the front porch
there it is, McCain/Palin, i swear it's all i can do to keep from screaming. I'm really glad she asked me because i was thinking i was the only one on my street.

3. we have lots of Obama signs in the neighborhood :D
BUT there's this one house a few blocks away, it's on a busy street so EVERYONE sees it, who always put Republican signs up. They're totally outnumbered around here right now.
Northern Virginia will go to Obama :D I can't say much for the rest of the state though.

4. Back before the 2004 election, my son was riding home on the school bus one day
and the bus passed one lonely Bush/Cheney sign amongst a sea of Kerry/Edwards signs. My son said the busload of kids started booing when they saw the Bush sign.

Ah, good old Portland. :)

5. Everytime I see a McCain/Palin sign...
...I think, how proud it stands. But soon enough it will be the source of hysterical laughter.
